The SS United States is in danger of being scrapped, but there is a group dedicated to preserving this ship and making it available to the public.  I started my career in the cruise lines and I've seen many beautiful ships get scrapped (SS Independence, SS America, SS Norway/France) instead of saved.  Don't let this happen to her.  SAVE THE SS UNITED STATES.
